Does cat litter work the same for dogs? less smell?

I have 2 dogs, a JRT who has deformed fron legs and a healthy beagle.

Both are about 6 mo old and litter box traind, mind an occasional accident. but my dad is very sensitive to the smell of the litter box so i wanted to know if cat litter works the same for dogs. right now I am using second nature by purina.

please help, I dunno what to try, any suggestions on somthing that would take the smell away would be great. thanks for your help.

im almost certain cat litter would work for ur crap. but will u or ur dog use it?

you can use cat littler for a lot of things people use it to clean up oil spills it will soak up almost anything wet

Yup, cat litter is fine for dogs unless they start eating it. Just train them the way that you would normally. And if the stuff gets covered up the smell doesn't go very far.

I'm sure a dog could learn how to use the litter if a cat a bunny can do it I'm sure a dog is smart enough... try getting a box and filling it with newspaper.
