Are they considered exotic? They are pretty common as pets I thought but anyway..your best bet is to call a local vet and find out that way..either if regular small animal vets do guinea pigs or if they know of a local exotic pet vet..the other possibility is to call the game warden as exotic pets would include wild birds and animals and the game warden should have the information. Also call Cornell University..someone there in the vet department might know also.
Call or go to Animal Dreams (pet store in the Village) and ask who they would recommend. They sell exotic pets, equipment, and food. You might want to ask about their selection of guinea pig supplies, food, etc. first to make it sound like you'll be a regular customer.
