Escapee Hamster?

We got a new hamster yesterday and she escaped this morning. She got out because the cage bars were too wide. Any tips on catching her? She is a dwarf hamster, the same color as the carpet.

lol thats gonna be hard! Keep a look out. Keep its cage open and if you come back to the cage sometime you will notice if the hamster is in the cage or if the hamster has been in the cage. Also, if the bars are too wide on your cage, you can get a fish tank too but make sure the top for it is a screen so oxygen can get through. Or what you could do is sit up on a couch or anything above the floor, and put food out. Then when you see the hamster, you can quick go for it or you can throw a bucket or something over it. lol
Hampsters are like little Houdini's! Keep your eyes and ears open. We had an escapee once and it was in the dead space between kitchen cabinets. If you have a cat, beware! Had another escapee get captured the unfortunate way.
the only suggestion i have is lay a bit of hamster seeds in every corner of every room. the hamster will show up.
Keep a sharp eye out and put food out. She may be lured in for some food. Depending on how friendly she was will be how hard it will be to finally catch her. Check near the floorboards near the wall that is where they love to hide out. And also in the couch.
