just more fat
you can NOT tell if a guinea pig is pregnant by looking at pictures. you have to watch their behaviour or feel their tummies.
if they are fat enough to tell they are pregnant, this means they are just about ready to give birth, and sometimes, you cant even tell if they are fat.
if you feel her tummy, it should feel hard and firm - but again, only in later stages or pregnancy (dont touch it too hard or youll hurt the babies).
all you can really do is wait. they are pregnant for around nine weeks, you should be able to tell after 5 or 6. meanwhile, look up info on how to care for the babies.
ok, actually looked at the pics this time - no, that bump on her righthand side is NOT pregnancy, and its NOT normal - get her to a vet.
.
idk, the bump looks a lot like a tumor. our guinea pigs never had anything like that when they were pregnant. how long has she been pregnant? are you sure that she is? if she gets bigger and doesn't start to look sick or have diharrea, i wouldn't worry about that bump because it's definately babies (you should be able to feel them). if it doesn't go away after 1-3 months (depending on how long she has been pregnant), i would take her to be checked out by a vet.
I answered your question the other day with a yes because the photo was taken from the side %26 she appeared to have a swollen abdomen. HOWEVER, now that you've taken a photo from a top angle I would say "no". She doesn't appear to be pregnant at all. She appears to have a growth or tumor of some kind. Please take your piggie to the vet for an examination and x-rays.
If she is that large, you should be able to feel the babies move. Usually if they are pregnant they are "showing" on each side. But she may have miscarried some of the babies? If you place your hand on the belly gently you should feel them moving around.
