Carrots and Brocoli? I don't think so... why don't give it sunflower seeds?
Give him veggies and fruits. Just give him small amounts and DO NOT give them:high citrus fruits(oranges, lemons, limes)(strawberries and grapes are okay but only in TINY pieces) and DO NOT give them green veggies like lettuce or broccoli. Thats about it for things not to do though. So have fun and play with your hammy alot.

My hamster loves raw steak and cat droppings. As long as I don't mention Richard Gere he gets along with everyone just fine.
yep, they like all kinds of things. Carrots, broccoli, cabbage (NO LETTUCE), apples, banannas, various nuts, grapes, and oddly enough some like meat!
Yes they do like those things. Cut them to pieces they can hold and chew on though. I also used to give mine crackers. The ones without salt. They loved vegetables.
Yes you can feed it veggies.Lettuce is okay in small amounts though it has little nutritional values.Carrots are fine and so is broccoli.Fruits are ok to feed to them as well.Just remember treats are fine just don't over due it and never give them more then they could eat right then.Stored fruits or veggies will rot.Don't give them any manufactured sweets that are meant for humans.Don't feed them Plants that are toxic such as tomato leafs.
