Hamster broken legs?

my hamster's two back legs broke. he escaped and got into another hamster's cage overnight and broke them in the fight. does anybody know a good vet in middletown, new jersey, or how i can fix it myself?
Answers:
Middletown animal hospital is very good- try going there!
sorry I dont live there to tell you what vet is good and whats not but there is nothing you can do to fix it yourself so look in the phone book for vets around you and call and find out.
Because I do not live in New Jersey, I do not know the best vet. I bet if you do a little research online, you can get it. Just search on yahoo. If anything, I think you should take your hamster to a vet hospital. Best of luck!
Get a very small cardboard box. Put some nice comfy towels at the bottom. Have his usual living neccesities by him (RIGHT by him) and a nice igloo. Get a toothpick and some medical tape. Place the toothpick on his leg but so that the top spike is a little hight then his back (this will give him proper support). Bind the tape around the toothpick firmly, but so that blood will still have access. Plus, are his legs cold? If so, he has no blood in there and you have to stick them in some nice warm water to get circulation running in and out again. Massage his little legs if they are cold, too, because this will have a good effect. Have a hot water bottle in his cage and keep it warm ALL the time. With his homemade splint, take off the medical tape once a day and change it. Even though this procedure is usually effective, go to a vet quickly. It doesn't matter if it is a good vetrinarian office or not. Just get him to the emergency place and have them treat him. Good Luck!
how did he get into the other cage???
Contact Dr. Goode. Not sure how close the vet is to you but they are the best.

You cannot fix them yourself. And odds are they won't wrap them unless they are correctable. They may have to put him down.
