if i give my guinea pig water from a water bottle, not a bowl, will it definatly be able to work out how to drink. I have not seen him drink out of the water bottle so far.

they have excellent noses, it may him him a bit but he'll definately work it out quite quickly. soon enough you'll be hearing that clinck clink clink non stop
Thats how we have always watered you guinea pigs when i was growing up and they always figured it out. Trust me if a guinea pig is thirsty it lets you know.
He will learn, Mine didnt drink for a day, but when he figured out the bottle with the ball, he drank from then on, just give it time, if it seems that ur guinea isnt going to drink from it, then use a bowl till ur guinea gets used to the bottle.
Your guinea pig will figure out how to use the water bottle. I had a very young guinea pig and thought the same thing but he learned on his own.
i give my guinea pig (dharma) a water bowl. she's quite a drinker now. i had the same problem when i first got her. you will probably need to change the water twice a day when you feed her. good luck to you and piggy.
Definently stick with the water bottle if you can. Bowls tend to get really dirty and messy in the cage. Make sure that it's at a level she can reach.
