Does anyone know how to tell what sex a bearded dragon is?

So..they all have beards? Even the females? Hm..check the lower region, and if that doesn't help, cut one open and see if there are eggs inside.

I do believe with any reptile, you would have to have them probed to check the sex. a professional herp handler would have to do it

If It has big fiery glowing balls...its a guy, if it looks like someone stabbed it in the butt and the wound is filled with red hot molten lava.Its a Girl. But every once in awhile you'll see one with both, and they call that a "Bearded Hermaphro-dragon" or sometimes called "Ellen Degeneres" ;)

If your beardy is older than a year, pick up its tail (support its body) and pull the tail up (not too far, you'll snap ot off) and look for two bulges above its vent. If you see none, its probably a girl. Its still hard to tell by this, but males are generally less affectionate, adnd want to check out everything
