Does anyone know how to make a home made crayfish trap out of stuff you would find around the house?

Answers:
take a 2 litter pop bottle, cut it in half and turn the top around and stick it in the bottom. put a peice of meat in the bottom part and a rock to weigh it down. also remember to take the lid off so the crayfish can get in it. once they're in it they cant figure out how to get out. put the trap in the bottom of a stream and come back a day or two later. this was in the may 2007 issue of field and stream so i dont know for sure if it works.
MAKE A CYLINDER OUT OF WIRE MESH , CLOSE OFF ONE END, AND THEN MAKE A CONE WITH A THREE INCH OPENING AND ATTACH IT TO THE CYLINDER RIM. CRAYFISH WILL CLIMB UP THE RAMP MADE BY THE CONE THROUGH THE HOLE AND FALL INTO THE CYLINDER. BECAUSE OF THE WAY THEY SWIM THE WON'T BE ABLE TO GET OUT, OH YEA MAKE A TRAP DOOR ON THE SIDE TO RE MOVE THEM THE BIGGER THE TRAP THE MORE IT WILL HOLD. YOU CAN DO IT WITH A BOX SHAPED ONE TOO THE ENTRANCE IS ON A SLANT GOING IN AND YOU LEAVE A 2 INCH GAP AT THE TOP
